An attractive tetradrachm from Athens of lovely Classical style

ATTICA. Athens. Circa late 450s-440s BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 16.88 g, 2 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Starr pl. 22, passim. Soronos pl. 12, 1-11 var. An attractive example of lovely Classical style. Slightly porous, otherwise, good very fine.
